Ken has practiced on the Sunshine Coast since 1981, specialising in commercial and property law, with broad experience in acting for large and small businesses, institutions and individuals, including assisting client's in the development of residential and commercial projects, strata titling, leasing, structuring, trusts, estate planning and asset protection.
Brendan was admitted as a solicitor in 1989 and after some years specialising in litigation in Brisbane joined Garland Waddington to head up the litigation department. Brendan's particular areas of expertise include building and construction law, insolvency, family law and commercial litigation.
John joined us in January 2003, practicing in commercial and property law. Prior to joining the firm John worked for the ANZ Bank and NAB as in-house counsel and in management positions in the Investment Banking division.
Candice was admitted as a solicitor in 1998, having completed her Arts/Law degree at the University of Queensland. Candice has worked at mid-tier and boutique law firms in New South Wales and Queensland, in the areas of family law, insurance, trade practices, licensing and general litigation. Since 2004 Candice has practiced primarily in the area of family law. She finds assisting client's with their property, binding financial agreements, parenting, spousal maintenance and child maintenance matters highly rewarding.
Michaela was admitted as a solicitor in 2008 and joined our commercial department in 2010. She practices in a wide range of commercial legal matters, with a focus on property and leasing, wills and deceased estates, and business sales and acquisitions.
Lyn has over 25 years experience in legal offices in conveyancing and deceased estates. She now manages our residential land, houses and units conveyancing department.
