Furry morning tea for a cause

The GW team recently welcomed the Compass Institute to join us for morning tea and they brought along special guests. Monty, Fensa and Toddy were true entertainers! The furry friends helped to raise awareness amongst the team about the Compass Assistance Dog $1 A Day Campaign and the important role these dogs play in our community.

Compass Assistance Dogs help people with disabilities to live an independent life. It costs $22,000 to fund a Compass Assistance Dog from when it’s a puppy through its entire training program. To help fund the training of the dogs, the Compass Institute’s $1 A Day campaign encourages people to give just $1 a day towards the worthy cause through a direct debit system.

Several team members were so impressed with the program, they signed up on the day.
