‘Director of first impressions’, Kerrie Cooper is celebrating ten (yes, 10!!!) years of service with Garland Waddington
Statistics show that the average employee changes jobs every three years, so it’s all the more reason for us to recognise our delightful ‘Director of first impressions’, Kerrie Cooper, for her ten (yes, 10!!) years of service with Garland Waddington.
Partner Ken Waddington said if you haven’t yet spoken to Kerrie when you’ve phoned Garland Waddington or met her smiling face at reception when you’ve dropped into the office, then you’re bound to in the future.
“Celebrating Kerrie’s ten years with Garland Waddington recognises the time she has given to us as we have pursued our values – client focus, professionalism, excellence and accountability,” Mr Waddington said.
“I’d also like to share my appreciation for the part Kerrie has played in making the firm what it is today. Kerrie’s talents and efforts have already helped us to achieve excellence in many areas for our clients, for that we are extremely grateful.”
When asked about her time at Garland Waddington over the years, Kerrie marvelled that ten years had passed.
“I was lucky enough all those years ago to be given the “best seat in the house” with views to die for, and I’ve been hard to budge ever since,” Kerrie says with a smile.
“The ever-changing scenery of the Maroochy River mouth and Cotton Tree Park are never taken for granted and my position offers me the freedom to connect with loyal and wonderful clients exchanging chats and
a few laughs, with coffee or a refreshing drink, and sharing my scenic view with them.
“And most importantly for me, what makes Garland Waddington such a great place to work is the “great team” I work with - professional partners , solicitors and the admin crew - who make it a pleasure every day,” Kerrie concluded.
Partner Brendan Bathersby said Kerrie needs a few loyalty and persistence gold medals for putting up with all the goings on at GW over the years.
