GW celebrates first University of the Sunshine Coast graduate to be admitted to the Supreme Court
This month one of our valued team members was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court and we could not be prouder of his achievements.
Tony Hunkin, the first University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) graduate to be admitted to the Supreme Court, started working with Garland Waddington as a work experience student in 2015. Recognising his talents, we asked Tony to join our team as a paid employee in 2016 and he now works with us full time.
Tony graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Laws, having previously attained a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree and spent 20 years as a retail pharmacy owner on the Coast, before he felt the calling and returned to university to study law.
Tony brings a vast amount of life and business experience to our team.
At Garland Waddington, Tony utilises his many years experience at running a small business and his newly acquired legal skills to assist clients with business and commercial issues, property, litigation, wills and estate planning advice.
