New year brings fresh faces to GW team
Garland Waddington welcomes some fresh faces in 2019, following the retirement in December 2018 of two long time members of our team, legal secretaries, Nicola Baker and Yvette Nicholls.
Nicola joined us in May 2005 and Yvette in July 2010, the pair job sharing for many years in our commercial and property section.
We are hoping Nicola is not kept too busy in her retirement, by her volunteer duties as a rural firefighter.
Nicola and Yvette’s role has been taken by the dynamic Gemma Sesifredo, who is loving living and working in Australia after relocating from England last year with her husband and two daughters.
Gemma brings valuable international experience, having worked for well-known UK firm Clifford Chase and US firm Orrick, Herrington and Sutcliffe. In her spare time Gemma enjoys spending time with her family and visiting favourite places such as Mount Coolum, Noosa National Park and Settlement Cove Lagoon at Redcliffe.
Also joining the ranks is very experienced conveyancer Linda Russell (replacing Kristy Bohringer) in assisting our beloved Paralegal Lyn Colautti with conveyancing. Linda previously worked as a Senior Conveyancer with various firms on the Sunshine Coast.
Linda loves the positive work environment at Garland Waddington and in her spare time likes to relax by bushwalking, gardening and landscape photography. Her lively household includes her husband, Lloyd, her daughter, son-in-law and grandson, and a large hairy Malamute.
We wish Kristy all the best in her new role with MB Financial.
