Spotlight shines on the Sunshine Coast's best builders in 2017
Brendan Bathersby of Garland Waddington recently presented numerous awards at this year’s Master Builders Queensland Housing & Construction Awards, held at Lake Kawana Community Centre on the Sunshine Coast.
Gold Leaf Constructions received the Best Residential Kitchen award.
Kernohan Constructions received the Sunshine Coast House of the Year award, and also won the Best Residential Swimming Pool and the Individual Home $1.26 million - $2 million.
PJ Burns Builders’ hard work netted them the President’s Award, as well as the Individual Home $251,000 - $350,000 and the Individual Home $551,000 - $650,000.
Courtney Burns from P J Burns Builders Pty Ltd also took out the Women in Building award.
The 2017 Project of the Year award was presented by Brendan Bathersby to Lend Lease Building for the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. Lend Lease also won the 2017 Sunshine Coast Health Facilities over $20 million.

The Housing & Construction Awards provide an opportunity to recognise this talent, and it is great that after 30 years, they continue to be sought-after by the state’s top builders and tradespeople.
