Celebrating ten years of service with our very loyal and committed Kay Dodd
GW recently celebrated ten years of service by our ever-watchful and astute number cruncher, Kay Dodd.
Kay started with GW in January 2008, initially as Brendan Bathersby’s secretary and moved into the official role of ’Accounts Lady’ in 2013.
Kay said upon reflection of her time at GW, she has seen many milestones celebrated over the years and it was hard to believe this month marked her big ten years.
”Over the years, I’ve seen young ladies starting out as junior administrators grow and become confident and experienced conveyancers and secretaries and business women,” Kay said.
“I have also witnessed Brendan celebrate his 20 years as Partner of the firm, and even seen Ken Waddington fly past the office in a sea plane!”
Practice Manager Kris Barnes said Kay is a hugely valued member of the team and is extremely good at what she does.
“Since moving into administration and accounts five years ago from her secretarial role, she has excelled and is almost perfect for the role,” Kris said. “I believe Kay has found her calling.”
Kay said that after buying her new home and truly settling into the Sunshine Coast, her most memorable and enjoyable (and scary at times) accomplishment at GW was hanging up her secretarial boots and becoming the ’Accounts Lady’.
“Bring on the next ten years!” Kay said.
